Tony Waters has a degree in Electronics and Telecommunications and has been BBC trained as an audio and video engineer. He has been in the satellite, cable, broadcast and telecommunication industry for 22 years.

Tony has worked for major US, UK, European and Australian corporations and small/medium businesses. These include; BBC, US West, Scientific Atlanta, United Artists, Telewest, NTL, ABC and Channel 9.

Having held senior management, technical and business positions he has led projects, technology and business developments from early MPEG to IPTV, cable modem, HFC, VoIP, VSAT and wireless products to deliver converged solutions.

Tony started Avonline Broadband (UK division of a major integrator in the cable industry), where over three years it became a leading provider of satellite broadband and wireless services in the UK. Avonline supply Sony, London Stock Exchange, Merrill Lynch, Microsoft and Toshiba with rural internet access in the UK and Europe.

Ron Garvey’s Telecommunications, Electronics and IT career spans more than 40 years, comprising:

• Post Master General’s Department/Radio Communication Installations in Queensland, Australia, from 1965 to l972.
• Business Owner of Itxperts Corporate Gold Coast, an IT Company, which he and his wife, Diane, have developed since l984, specializing in installation and maintenance of Local/Wide area Computer Networks, Australia-wide and International.

Ron holds qualifications which include:

• Snr Technician Radio and Long Line, Post Master General’s Dept, Australian Government.
• Broadcast Radio and Television Operator’s Certificates of Proficiency, Australia.
• Bachelor of Applied Science (Computing), Queensland University of Technology. Australia.

• Redline Certified Broadband Wireless Installation, Canada.

Diane Garvey has a background in Law Offices for over 12 years, as Personal Assistant to a Senior Partner and also as a Conveyancing Clerk. Diane has worked with her husband, Ron, in business for more than 10 years, in a Management and Customer Service capacity.

Her role in Oceanic Broadband Solutions includes Office and Accounts Management, procurement and dispatch as well as liaison with various Australian Government Authorities such as Austrade.
